Portland is a great place for walking. One of my favorite things to do is walk through different Portland neighborhoods and look at the houses. The Walking Around Portland series will be made up of the photos I take on these walks.
There are a lot of craftsman details added to Portland porches. This is a different style than I’ve seen before.
I love that the Tibetan prayer flags. They are so well matched to the rest of the house!
Cool metal medallion!
I rounded a corner and came across an unexpected tower!
One thing I noticed when I moved from Colorado to Portland is that people tend to use a lot more color here! I like bold color choices!
I like the red stairwell.
Rusty metal often looks cool when done right.
I was able to chat with the owner of this place a bit. He’s been using salvage materials to add to the house for years. There are tons of little details everywhere. I could look at this place for a long time. It’s awesome what people do with reused materials in Portland!
Interesting modern building.
This is a beautiful building!
See what I was saying earlier about cool rusted metal!
Bike… bike rack. This way your bike won’t be lonely while you’re gone.
I like this color combo.
Cute Gnome House!
